This Privacy Policy sets forth the principles governing the collection, processing, and protection of patient personal and sensitive health data by Dr. Prerna Ayurveda Clinic, located at Flat 402, Shiv Regency, Manish Nagar, Nagpur – 440015 (Maharashtra). This policy complies strictly with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act 2023), Section 43A of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020 issued by the Ministry of AYUSH and Board of Governors in supersession of the Medical Council of India.
2. Sensitive Personal Data or Information (SPDI) Collected
During teleconsultation, in-clinic OPD visits, and AI Diagnostic assessments (Skin, Hair, and Diet questionnaires), we collect demographic and clinical health data, including patient full name, mobile number, age, gender, primary health concerns, dosha responses, tongue examination descriptions, and medical history. All electronic patient health records (EHR) are encrypted using 256-bit SSL encryption.
3. Purpose of Processing & Practitioner Confidentiality
Patient health data is processed solely by Dr. Prerna Kohad (BAMS(Ayu)) and authorized clinical staff for the purpose of root-cause diagnostic evaluation, formulation of personalized Ayurvedic herbal prescriptions, appointment coordination, and post-consultation therapeutic follow-ups. Patient records are never sold, rented, or transferred to third-party advertisers.
4. Telemedicine Consultation Consent
By initiating a video consultation or completing an AI assessment questionnaire on drprerna.com, the patient grants explicit informed consent to receive Ayurvedic clinical telemedicine care in accordance with Guideline 3.4 of the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020.
